“When I signed up for the Computer Career Institute Portfolio Program in October, 2005, I was not working and feeling quite old and washed out. Day after day, as I came to class I brightened up and had such a good time at class learning new things. During the two months I was going to class I was working at an office in the afternoons creating sophisticated spreadsheets and doing projects in Word. It was so much fun to put the information I was learning to use. By Christmas, when the two months were over, I felt young and confident again. Nan helped me make a great resume and I felt so proud sending it out to companies.

The day after the last class, my agency sent me on an interview with Ballet Arizona. I got the job and today was my first day. I caught on right away and felt good and knowledgeable as the trainer showed me the computer system.

I really appreciate what the Portfolio Program has done for me. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to step up in the secretarial world.”
