I am new to computers? |
|
Whether you are brand new to computers or a regular computer user you are welcome to apply at the Computer Career Institute. During your admissions process we will assess your current computer skills and create a success plan to help you transition into confident computer usage. |

Who is your typical student? |
|
The Computer Career Institute's mission is to "Advance Your Career" through "In Demand" computer career training in 3 Months or less. If you want to advance your career through computers you are our typical student. Computer Career Institute prides it self on serving students of different backgrounds and experiences. Computer Career Institute maintains a business casual environment and expects students to treat each other professionally and courteously. |

How much does it cost? |
|
Cost is affordable and varies depending on program and career path. All program fees which include tuition, books, e-learning and applicable fees are all included in program cost. |

What are my payment options? |
|
Computer Career Institute offers a variety of payment options including: cash, check, major credit cards and financing options available through SLM Financial. Students seeking financing options will be assisted in the application process whenever possible and appropriate. |

Are there grants available? |
|
Yes, Workforce Investment Act funding (WIA), Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) funding and Veteran's Benefits (GI Bill) are all available to those who qualify. |

How often to classes start? |
|
Most programs have monthly start dates and some programs start every two weeks. |

How long do programs last? |
|
All of the programs at the Computer Career Institute can be completed in 3 months or less. |

What do you earn upon completing a program? |
|
Upon the successful completion of all the requirements for graduation, students will receive a certificate of program completion. Most students will also receive Microsoft, or Comp TIA certifications upon the successful completion of certification exams. |

What kinds of jobs are available? |
|
Computer Careers and Information Technology jobs are in high demand. Students of Computer Career Institute have many opportunities for successful careers. Current job titles or career fields seeking software training and computer skills include: Information Technology, Information Technology Support, Accounting, Marketing, Office Specialists, Website Development and Management, and Communication. |

What if I don't have a GED/High School Diploma? |
|
Compute Career Institute highly recommends a High School Diploma or GED completion. However, students seeking admissions who have not met this requirement may seek special admission status. Please

What if I need to get a job while in school? |
|
Computer Career Institute prides it self on flexibility. We understand working adults have challenging schedules. If you find your time commitments change during your program, we will work with you to find a solution to help you complete your program and graduate. |

New students are always encouraged to take a tour of our campus and learn about Computer Career Institute first hand. We welcome walk-ins, but appointments are always encouraged. We also encourage you to bring along your spouses or invested family members to help you decide. We also welcome to you take a complementary class. |

What if I don't own a computer? |
|
You don't need to own a personal computer to participate in Compute Career Institute programs. Students have access to a complementary computer lab for additional practice and e-Learning. |

Can I tour campus? |
|
Yes! We always recommend tours before applying. Tours generally last 30 - 45 minutes. During this time we will show you our campus facilities, review the programs which best suit your needs, and discuss any questions you might have. We encourage you to bring along a spouse or other family member or friend whose opinion you trust to help you make your decision. Walk-ins are welcome, but we encourage appointments.
